Event - Years 5 and 6 Tudor Banquet

Children from Year 5 and 6 showcased their newly designed and created Tudor waistcoats when families joined us for a Tudor Banquet on Wednesday afternoon.

Our guests enjoyed sampling our ‘school made’ Tudor delicacies including Maid of Honour Tarts, Jumble Biscuits and Tarte Owt Lente. Entertainment included a Tudor dance and the singing of ‘Greensleeves’ along with a multimedia presentation advertising the different foods.

Pupils had created logos and slogans, storyboarded their advert, filmed and then edited their work to create a final advert.

A big thank you to Mrs Gravelsons for co-ordinating the event and to our army of volunteers for helping with the sewing. Our recipes will be available on the school website if you would like to try them!
