Hi there. A relative of mine may have taught at your school back around 1914. Her name was Helen Davies and she lived with her elderly mother on Victoria Road, not far from the school. As a teenager, Helen helped her mother look after her twin nephews while their own mother worked. At the age of eleven, both the boys were sent to Canada as British Home Children, where they worked on farms as indentured laborers. One of the twins became my grandfather, Albert 'Bert' Davis. I have been researching our family history and was interested in learning more about Helen, whom the twins both remembered fondly all their lives--calling her 'Aunt Nell'. If you have any records that would confirm her employment at your school, I would appreciate knowing about them. Thank you..

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for the lovely pictures that have arrived in my food package each week. The three I have received have all come from children in your school. I am a retired teacher myself and these pictures have filled me with joy. At a time when I'm really missing my own grand children they touched my heart. I think the website is just like our school, fantastic! I was really lucky to be chosen to go to the stargazing evening on Wednesday 28th March, it was very interesting, I saw Jupiter and it's 4 moons. Everyone should try it with Mrs Greygoose. Thanks for a great night. Our school is the best and I love it.

Our children in years 5 and 1 came home with the science project book this weekend and had to experiment to see how far they could stretch a Curly Wurly. The whole family, including grandparents and our 4 year old, had a wonderful time discussing, experimenting and measuring. They can't wait for another turn. Thank you.

This is a fantastic school, we were all incredibly impressed by the level of interaction with the children. The facilities are outstanding and the warm and friendly welcome that we got from teachers and pupils was outstanding, we were made to feel like we were already part of the school.
