Event - Reception's Three Little Pigs

This week the children in Reception have been enjoying the story of The Three Little Pigs.

The story was brought to life when the characters in the story came to visit us in our outdoor area! Mrs Crothall dressed as the pigs and Miss Vassie dressed as the wolf!

The children used story language to help retell the tale and there was great excitement when the wolf made her appearance out of forest school!

The children loved watching the acting and hot seating the characters afterwards asking questions like "How did you feel when the wolf blew your house down?", "How did you feel seeing the pig upset?" and "Why did you blow their houses down?"

At the end of our story the wolf made friends with the pigs and said sorry for blowing the houses down.
