Event - Year 2's Pirate Maths Day

Year 2 children took to the seas on Friday in a pirate themed maths day.

A range of activities were organised to develop children's problem solving and thinking skills, around the story of finding Captain Blackbeard's treasure. The children made symmetrcial flags, cracked secret codes and navigated maps to finally sail to Treasure Island.
