Event - Visit from the Warwickshire Dogs Trust

Children in Year 1 and 2 welcomed two very special visitors today, from the Warwickshire Dogs Trust. Scott Spencer and Otis, a Staffordshire Bull-Terrier, came to talk to the children about looking after dogs and the work of the Dogs Trust. Through drama and role-play, we learned the story of how Scott and Otis met.

The visit linked to the children's literacy work on stories with familiar settings and gave then a perfect opportunity to meet a rescued dog.
