Event - Ancient Greece Day

Key Stage 2 children launched their new topic with a special Ancient Greece day.

Dressed in the costumes of the time, children made ships and took part in a drama activity based on Theseus and the Minotaur. There were also sessions on archeology, ancient and modern Greek dance, food tasting, Greek writing and the children sang songs based on myths.

It was an exciting introduction to a very interesting and varied topic.
